It made me smile being that I live here in CT and I am a huge UConn men and woman basketball fan. I bleed orange & green when it comes to football but basketball it blue & white go Huskies.

Well neg me too im a huge UCONN huskie men/women bball team fan... UM basketball i follow but always been meh... Football & Baseball always been dominant

Wait, you're a Miami football fan, but not a basketball fan? You realize this isn't the nfl. You realize this is an overall athletic department / program. You don't pick and choose which sports you like from different schools around the country.

Wait, you're a Miami football fan, but not a basketball fan? You realize this isn't the nfl. You realize this is an overall athletic department / program. You don't pick and choose which sports you like from different schools around the country.
I grew up in CT and I've been a fan of the U football team since high school so we are talking mid 80's here. I went to UCONN for undergrad when the football team was still playing the likes of Maine and Yale in the Yankee conference division 1AA if I remember right. I went to my fair share of UCONN football games. But UCONN is a bball school through and through. It was a no brainer to keep rooting for the Canes for football. Canes football is a national brand.
So yea I did pick and choose what team I rooted for.
