Gates missed their window. They have had(arguably) the most talented team in the country the last 3 years and failed to win it.

Wow, Florida swept, at home, by FGCU!?!?

UF had bases loaded, no outs in the bottom of the 10th and didn't score. It's absolutely guaranteed that O'Sullivan has destroyed something in that clubhouse in the last 20 minutes.

Amen. And now it's time to pay the piper. They put it all into that roster, and it didn't come through. And now their depth stinks.

Those guys will be dialed in for us. However, I like what we have going right now.

I'll lay -1000 odds that at some point next weekend we are all screaming "THAT'S WHY WE DON'T WANT AJ CLOSING".

Does it count that I already said this during the Milwaukee series?

No. This weekend was his test. Next weekend you can say that we've had enough.

Salcines is an Encinosa train wreck. Ned needs to close starting yesterday.

I have a hard time wrapping my head around the fact that these guys were all the best pitchers on their teams; probably among the best in their areas. How do you forget how to throw strikes?

Simple, J.D. Arteaga.

A.J. Salcines:
5.79 ERA, 3 BB & 3 HBP in 4.2 innings

Eight other pitchers combined:
1.39 ERA, 11 BB & 3 HBP in 58.1 innings

So, yeah, it looks like everyone is pitching like A.J. :p

Seriously, Mr. Salcines, quit blaming J.D. when it is obvious that your son is the one guy on the staff who hasn't been able to figure it out yet.

And last year, when our hitting and defense sucked, the #28 ERA out of 300 teams bailed us out over and over. So please stop being the stereotypical Miami fan who whines about a coach with absolutely no basis.

Turds drop their Tuesday night game to UNF 7-6 in 10. That's 5 straight losses dating back to last week's midweek game to Georgia Southern, bringing their record to 3-6.
