Gameday In Miami?

Looking ahead a bit but on nov.9 you have #14va.tech at #7 miami. Other games that day you got #13lsu at #1bama(likely cbs at 7) and #24nebraska at #22michigan. I think even if we lose to fsu and vt comes in with 1 loss it's still better than nebraska and michigan.

Naw...we will probably get the UM v FSU matchup for gameday. They realllllly reallly love them some FSU right now. If that is the case they wont come to Miami in back to back coverages.
 
But if the Canes were to win, then Gameday would have no choice but to come down. Miami would probably move up to number 3 or 4 in BCS standing.
 
Yeah, i cant remember a time where Gameday has followed a team in back to back games. I might be wrong if anyone has some facts to put to it. I just cant remember the last or first time I seen that happen. Now that we got the NCAA crap coming out a week before the game....oh YOU KNOW they are going to Tallahassee now!

if we lose we will be like 15th. doubt they will come for that type of game. i think it would take a top 5 matchup to bring them here.

We aint getting game day. I doubt we get game day at Miami anytime soon. Even if we are most deserving, they'll pick a fluke/scrub squad like Washington -dropped two consecutive games since game day was there to hype up the Pac12.
 
I don't think they'll do it in miami honestly, as sad as that is. Idk though, it;s been too long since we were high enough in the polls to warrant a gameday so we'll see.

We have gameday at FSU against us. I think if we beat FSU and VT doesn't lose then we would be gameday, but if we lose, then espn will choose Bama LSU

espn choosing bama/lsu regardless. miami/vt isnt the same rivalry as bama/lsu and nowhere near the same type of hype.

Bama/ LSU all day unless they try to get cute.

The only way they come to Miami is if we win the next 2 weeks AND one of (or both) LSU and Bama lose. If we lose there is no way they take what will probably be two teams ranked somewhere between 10-20 as opposed to a #1 vs #13 (or more likely higher), especially when it's LSU vs Bama. Even if we win, you are talking a top 5 team vs maybe a top 15 team vs (again) #1 vs 13. Then you take into account that we have a small under grad and VT will not travel well to this game and even if they do will probably not go down to the campus for Gameday filming; I just dont see it happening.
 
I don't see Gameday coming to Miami.

They may set up on another campus and then fly into Miami for the night game.

They will do FSU game for sure if we both win next week. Too much history to not do it. We win in Tally and I don't care if Gameday comes here or not. Can't imagine them not doing LSU/Bama. Just win the rest of the games.
 
If we got College Gameday vs. VTech there would be 100 people. Best, best case scenario is for them to set it up on campus and hope the students get back from Space nightclub in time.
 
Gameday will likely never come back to Miami per them. They had a bad experience last time and, I believe it was Fowler and Corso, said they would never be back.
 
**** i wasn't thinking i should have said the 8:00 game on abc. I think gameday will be at bama but the game is on cbs so will could stil get abc like the fsu game last year.
