Game 4 today at 1 PM. Danny Garcia on the mound for the Canes vs. Gaby Rosa for Rutgers, who was a freshman All-American last season and conference rookie of the year. Going into the series this was probably the game that Rutgers had the best chance of winning. Let's hope Garcia brings it. Sosa sure did look good. Go Canes.

Canes are good this year. When's the last time we had three starters throwing mid-90's and two relievers sitting in that range (Honiotes, Beauprez), and the closer might be the best of the lot.

Lineup is much improved as well.

I'm at the game and defensively we have sucked. Ruiz at 2b has been terrible and at pitcher Garcia has been pretty shaky with men on bases and made terrible mental errors. He just got beat to the bag for a routine infield out.

I was just getting ready to reply to the last comment about the improvement and was going to say, It isn't about the better talent to win big this year. It will be about the fundamentals, which Morris's teams has lacked for too long, and it starts with coaching. Not trying to be a negative nancy, but something I've witnessed for way to long. Hoping for the best for this team though. Go Canes!

Bats have really been great today canes up 11-3 in the 4th. Rutgers on their 3rd pitcher and Kennedy is having himself a great day which is really good to see. Eusebio is playing great also. Chester just laid down a beautiful bunt with 2 outs for a hit and drove in a run. Zack Collins is up with 2 outs and bases juiced.

Thompson with a 3 run homerun. This is ridiculous. We've scored 11 runs in the inning and the scoreboard has to display a 1 under the fourth inning for the runs scored. We are up 17-3 and Kennedy just hit his 3rd double for the game. This has mostly been with 2 outs. Correction iskendarian hits another double and we are now up 18-3 and have scored 12 runs. We are still in the fourth

We've officially ht double digits in the 6 inning. Canes up 20-4 as jacob heyward just hit a 2rbi double. We have 5 backups in the game.

24-4 in the 8th this is absolutely merciless. And Morris is actually really holding them back on the base paths. Nice to see rosier playing CF. image.webp
