From 4 IP 0 runs and ~70 pitches to 3 2/3 IP, 4 runs and Walters' day is done. Ouch.

This is turning into a weekend of what-could've-beens between last night's Hugus start with no offensive output and Walters' start today that was knocked off course by an error on an inning-ending routine ground ball.

Sure feels like we've had a lot of relievers having to rush through warmups this season, in situations where it makes sense to have someone tossing. That's not the case today - that blew up incredibly quickly and out of nowhere, but just odd that it's happened so much.
