Do you have a pool and or hot tub?As my son just put it…”UConn going belt to *** on your Canes”
But the football building!!!!Since Rad became AD we’ve had 2 of the worst basketball seasons in men’s history (probably 2 of the 4 worst) our women’s team didn’t even make the ACC tournament and baseball has its worst season ever and #2 is incoming.
Imagine how many they would score if we didn’t have a top 5 pitching staff.
i think the reason we are losing is 1. Bats aren’t putting up more runs against a team with pitchers that have 27.0 era.And its really easy for me to come back and say I told you so... So I am.
Wasted the best bullpen guys on Friday while down by 4 runs Fd you up for the entire series.
Lineup was closer to what it needs to be but you still need Galvin in the two hole. He puts the ball in play more than anyone on the team and should be in front of Cuvet.
The team needs better ABs. College baseball is about forcing the other team to make mistakes, you have to force good ABs and get walks. Patient and scrappy hitters cause lopsided wins in college.
Agree. I stated last night this team (for two years now) swings at so many pitches outside the strike zone and they get themselves out. No plate discipline at all..there is a fine line between taking too much/not being aggressive versus swinging st pitches not in the zone. Take the free pass, keep the train moving, and put pressure on the pitcher to make pitches and the defense to make plays. You watched it the last two nights with UConn…walks and HBP led to stolen bases and Miami errors. And its really easy for me to come back and say I told you so... So I am.

- game 1: Robert allows 5 straight runners on base, JD and Laz decided how is the rule to talk to him? Only for him to give up a grand slam after they talked to him…….
- game 2: leaving Hugus in to long in the 4th
Decided to leave Ciscar in the 8th inning after he threw in the 5th-7th. UM play by play radio commentator J monte said on our space last night that every single picture Ciscar threw in the 8th inning was a new career high.
JD then proceeds to put fischer in (who did not have it today) and if you don’t have it today that is fine, that is why you have other guys in the pen. Fischer gives up
- 7 inch base hit (no one’s fault) 8-5
- walks a runner in 9-5
(At this point is where I’m like it’s time to pull him)
We don’t pull him and he gives up a two RBI single blooper in the outfield (is it luck? IMO you make your own luck)
To little to late with the decision. And JD has been in this role for 20 years. Unacceptable what happened yesterday.
7-5 in the 8th inning and you complete lose it and they score 5 in the 8th to make it 12-5. Game over
That is the truth! Coach costed us these two games and bats can’t swing
Not getting swept is what you should hope for 3-6 / 4-5 would be the best case. At that point the slate gets a bit easier until you play Virginia. (Easier compared to Wake, FSU, UNC)Honestly going 2-2 the next three weeks is going to be a major accomplishment.
