4-3, Cuvet 3 run homer puts us up
Sad part is that I actually think the staff around him is good but he’s such a bad in game manager it overshadows everything.Staggering his adjustments by a week or so so us peon baseball-minded folk don’t catch on…
He’s the other OF we’re looking for.On a semi-related note, keep Peralta in the lineup until he plays his way out this time.
I was skeptical of Laz frankly and jury out but I do feel that he’s a better pitching coach than his predecessor. Wait…Sad part is that I actually think the staff around him is good but he’s such a bad in game manager it overshadows everything.
love that he’s starting to swing it5-3 Dwill hr
Believe it or not given the product on the field, I came around to Laz being pretty competent last year.I was skeptical of Laz frankly and jury out but I do feel that he’s a better pitching coach than his predecessor. Wait…

Laz is an amazing coach, any of the players will tell you that. I think his most underrated aspect is the mental focus he takes pride in. In the offseason we would have a weekly breakdown on the mental aspect of the game and it makes such a difference.Believe it or not given the product on the field, I came around to Laz being pretty competent last year.
That’s completely fair, I feel like while the mental coach background was a nauseating talking point last year in attempts to justify the hire, he did show an aptitude for timing his mound visits in 24.Believe it or not given the product on the field, I came around to Laz being pretty competent last year.
The proof will be definitely be in the pitching, but I liked the actual substantive things I had heard Laz was doing developmentally behind the scenes. That’s completely fair, I feel like while the mental coach background was a nauseating talking point last year in attempts to justify the hire, he did show an aptitude for timing his mound visits in 24.
While that seems like a prerequisite for the position that was something I yelled at the television about when we were trotting out talent like McMahon, Cecconi, Rosario, Palm, et al.
With so much turnover I want to see the development of our pitching staff in the coming years before I ultimately go thumbs up or down.
To @Zbrod95 point, things like the strength and conditioning that @Sebastian Font has pointed out make a big difference whole program-wise, so that is positive.
Edit: hit enter before I finished my sentence.
Yep as much as I hate to say it, he just couldn’t get that third strike on last four batters.Hugus pitched count will be 90. Gotta make a move after this inning.
