In the next few years this unit will be deep and talented on O.

Here is a breakdown of our 1st and 2nd year players and some current commits.

QB's of the future:

Kevin Olsen - 4* recruit who is from a football family. He's a smart player and when he gets the position down the way Golden wants
he can be a great leader.

Brad Kaaya - 4* recruit who has been a fast riser over the summer. Started the season a little slow, but has been picking it up the last
few games. He has all the tools and personality to lead the team.

RB's of the future:

Duke Johnson 5* - If he stays for his senior year (which he may depending on his draft status) He will be the leader and an explosive playmaker
who has the ability to be in the Heisman race.

Gus Edwards 3* - he'll be a 230lb RB with nimble feet and a good burst. If he gets his pad levels down he will be a dominant Big Back.
Also may be able to be used as a FB like Lonnie Pryor at FSU

Joseph Yearby 4-5*- Amazing quickness and shiftiness. He is good between the tackles and outside and also an underrated receiver. On of
the top 5-10 backs in the country in my opinion - having watched him live this year.

Brandon Powell 3-4* - He is a versatile player who is a scat back that can also line up in the slot. He has the ability to also help our special teams
as a returner.

TE's of the Future:

Standish Dobard 4* - Big athletic Tight End who was top 10 in the country coming out of school. He will be a great blocking and receiving TE in our
offense.

Jake O'Donnell - He is a 6-6 TE that will be more of a blocker than catcher. He has improved a lot, but doesn't have the same upside.

Chris Herndon 3* - He is very athletic and can stretch defenses - would be a good combo with Dobard.

Rhyheem Lockley - He's very athletic in his film, would be similar to Herndon - faster and slightly undersized. Not sure about his grades.

Devonaire Clarington - This is one of the big targets for our O in the 2015 class - hopefully he ends up a Cane

WR's of the Future:

Herb Waters 3-4* - He is so smooth and explosive. He may leave as a Jr, or may come back to have a dominant season as a senior.

Stacy Coley 4* - Top 5 receiver in the 2013 class. Extremely smooth and explosive. He will leave a mark at this school and be a high
draft pick when he leaves.

Malcolm Lewis 4* - Once he gets his leg 100% and his confidence back he will be a beast in the slot for us. He will make big plays and
help the team move the chains.

D'Mauri Jones 3* - Still haven't seen enough of him. He has a big body and some tools, just not sure if he gets lost in the mix with all the
studs at this position.

Derrick Griffin 4* - If we can get him here in December he will be an absolute match up nightmare. It will give us the 2nd and 3rd ranked WR
in the 2013 class. He is a bigger, more athletic version of Mike Evans who is tearing it up at Texas A&M.

Darrell Langham 4* - Another 6'4 receiver that can get the ball high in the air. Good red zone target.

Johnnie Dixon/Braxton Berrios - These 2 would round out the class nicely. Dixon is a smooth, explosive playmaker and Berrios is a quick slot
receiver that would be a match-up problem underneath.

Offensive Line of the Future:

Ereck Flowers 4* - I'm listing him since he's a So - but not sure if he'll stick around or leave as a Jr. Great upside and a potential 1st-2nd round pick.

Alex Gall 3* - He has looked good in his limited time. Good run blocker with a mean streak that we need.

Danny Isidora 3-4* - He has gotten in much better shape and is being groomed to replace Linder after this season. Another tough run blocker that
will be opening holes for our stable of RB's down the road.

Sunny Odagwu 3* - Giant, athletic lineman. He's raw and will take a couple more years of development. If he can put it together he is a beast of
an athlete at the Tackle spot.

Taylor Gadbois 3* - He is also 6'8 and a fairly good athlete. Needs to get more consistant, but has some good upside.

Trevor Darling 4* - He is a road grader who needs to continue to develop his footwork. Will be a dominant G, or RT.

KC McDermott 4-5* - This guy has the tools to be a dominant force on the O-line fairly early in his career. Potential at either Tackle spot.

Reilly Gibbons 4* - Another big, athletic athlete with a mean streak. I see him and McDermott as our future book-end tackles. Hopefully like Matthews
and Joeckel at A&M.

Hunter Knighton/Nick Linder - These two need more development physically and will most likely not play much until their 3-4th seasons.

There is so much talent either here or coming in the next year. We may lose out on a few home town guys, but if they want to leave so be it.
Lets be thankful for what the staff has done in the last couple seasons under the cloud of the NCAA. We keep winning and they will come!!!

Nice write up.

Duke and Coley are 90% 3 year guys, IMO.

I'd put a paycheck on Duke being a 3 year guy. I was next to his mom in Atlanta last year when a fan asked her to make sure he stays all 4 years. You'd thought someone shot her dog!

Excellent write up, just a couple of comments
1. I think even if griffin doesn't end up here, (which I hope to god he will) we will have langham, who is 6'5 with 4.5 speed, just looking at his highlights the other day I think he's one of the more underrated kids across the country
2. You should include Danny Isidora on the OL, he will be a big contributor when he gets back, good upside and Al had mentioned he really liked his development until the injury, won most improved on offense during the spring

Thanks for the heads up jruiz - added Isidora.

Agree about Langham - but Griffin is on another level. Bigger and faster. 6'7 with a huge vertical is hard to stop.

Duke leaves after 3 years, but not because he's going to be a 1st round pick, but because of injury risks

I wouldn't be so sure Duke leaves after 3. Duke does not have the durability to be an every down back in college let alone the NFL, so why leave early to be a mid round pick. IMO he should stay, work on his strength and durability to improve his draft stock even more.

Duke leaves after three years. His durability and injury risk arent going down because he stays in college another year. Sorry, too much risk for RBs to play for free in college.

Play for free? Guess I miss where he earns his degree which most athletes use since most never make the league or have quick exits if they do.

If he's a day one pick or high 2nd or 3rd guaranteed then yeah I'd agree but leaving like forston and those guys chasing money and you see where their at now. Not to mention rb position is dime in a dozen in the NFL

If Duke gets a top 3-4 round projection like another poster mentioned I'm fairly sure he would leave. His Fam as well as him know what the deal is. Lamar and Olivier both made the correct decisions to enter the draft when they did. Olivier really didn't even do much stat wise the year he left. But honestly scouts/cross checkers aren't worried about stats too much depending on the circumstance. Look at Christine Michael last year at A and M. Dude had multiple injuries in college, and really average stats compared to other backs the yearhe came out. Michael was a 2nd round pick. ALL about athleticism and talent. Duke can work on "strength" when he gets drafted. NFL teams have FAR MORE resources compared to almost all colleges as far as training is concerned. Duke will have more resources personally as well.
