never knew UM had petty theft issues....i was there last week and bikes unlocked everywhere..

It's been a while, but I had my locked bike stolen on campus in 20003. Of course I was stuck having to go to a engineering class at 4PM on a Friday when there was no one else on campus (I am still bitter about having to take that class as a senior 11 years later) so there weren't many people around to see any would be thieves.
