Frank Tucker was brought in to identify and offer recruits early and then hopefully establish relationships that will endure during the recruiting marathon. Will he prevent the Xavier Lucas and D’Angelo Ponds of the world from slipping through the cracks? Will he prevent recruits from claiming that we offered and prioritized them too late?

This thread will monitor the recruits he unearths early and the recruits that cite that he was a difference maker in their recruitment.

Frank is a huge asset. Nobody knows local talent like he does.
He's the reason that Miami was on Jones and Gourdine early. Without Frank, Miami would've been behind the eightball.

And regarding Xavier Lucas...
I brought him to Kevin Steele's attention (at a Miami camp) before his junior year started. They liked what they saw but communication wasn't cranking up until months later. Miami was already behind by that point.
If Frank was there he would've been pounding the table and Lucas wouldn't have got away.

Good thread OP, think he'll have a very good impact of IDing the best talent 2 or more years out and giving us a big head start on everyone. HS classes are getting locked up earlier and earlier.
