Frank Gore Jr Soph Tape

I like his instincts, but there is no elite burst there. No elite speed either. He still has time to develop as he is only a sophomore.

Let's see another year. He basically took what his team gave him which was considerable. There wasn't much there that you could say he created.

Didn'y notice the 'Jr' in the title. Came here thinking I was going to watch Frank Gore's sophomore highlights.

Gore Sr.'s tape doesn't wow anyone either with jukes and speed. That wasn't his game. He had incredible instincts, balance, heart, and loved football.

Knees are suspect. Won’t last long. Do not want.

It’s amazing you have the gift to come up with the conclusion based on that video. You’re that guy.

I hope the guy is being sarcastic. Gore is a huge inspiration to overcome injuries and academics like he did to end up being a HOF RB. I have as much respect for that man as anyone who's ever walked the earth. He's the poster boy of hard work pays off.

You're either mentally disturbed, or you never saw Frank Sr. in HS. Frank Sr.'s HS career was similar to Barry Sanders when it came to the "wow factor." He was the king of the jump cut and jukes and making people miss in a phone booth.

Gore Sr. High school tape is ridiculous. One look and you know he is a five star. The kid has some time but I don't see it right now.

Per 24/7 he is 5-4 and 140. He needs to grow but has time. We should always keep an eye on family and if a spot is available...............

It was a joke.

This. And as a CGHS alumni who was on the field with him, I will add Frank Sr. also laid guys out. I do not recall Frank being solo tackled by defenders very often in high school -- he'd drive through those attempts because his lower body strength was just sick.

On a positive note, Frank Jr. seems to have inherited his father's vision, willingness to block, and (underappreciated) soft hands.

The lack of burst at the 0:38-0:39 mark is one of the differences between an elite guy and a really good back.

His dad's highlights are my favorite RB HS highlights of all time - I hope this kid gets to have an awesome career somewhere too.
