Last season, Lonnie Walker averaged 9.7 points per game for the Nets, grabbed 2.2 rebounds, and had 1.3 assists, with a 38.4% shooting percentage.

With the exception of field-goal percentage, these numbers were in line with his career averages of 9.8 ppg, 2.3 rpg and 1.3 apg (42.2%).

Not even being a biased Canes fan I always thought Lonnie would be a great fit with the Heat.
 
Will likely go to the G League team for Boston. Would look for them to try to move Jaden Springer to bring Lonnie up. Keeping Lonnie would’ve been about a 15mm total hit including tax, but if they can get off Springer’s contract they can avoid that.

I personally hope Lonnie sticks with Boston and winds up getting a spot when they move Springer, but man, he’s so much better than a lot of guys getting real minutes for some teams. I don’t understand it.

I don’t know what they could do cap wise but if I’m Denver I’m trying to find a way to get him. That team’s guard rotation is horrible. They have to get some shooting around Jokic.
