State Semifinals

4M Columbus 27 Tampa Plant 7
4M Jacksonville Mandarin 51 Monarch Coconut Creek 21
3M St.Thomas Aquinas 50 Tampa Gaither 14
3M Homestead 35 Orlando Jones 28
2M Miami Norland 28 Jacksonville Bolles 7

State Finals

South Florida should have at least 3 state champions-

Columbus is without their QB not sure if they have enough against Mandarin.

All games in Tallahassee televised by Bally Sports.

The FSHAA are idiots we have great venues over the state especially in South Florida now the Southern teams have to travel 8 hrs north.

Homestead rematch versus STA. Hoping it’s a good game. STA has been murking teams all year.

Cocoa won the game but, refs mismanaged the time clock at the end of the game STA was able to kick a game winning FG with 3 secs left.

I was at the game it was crazy Cocoa has a helluva team they are easy top 5 team in the state-They are coached by Ryan Schneider former OC at STA he grew up in Broward was a star QB at Plantation and UCF.
Refs were disciplined but, the outcome of the game could not be changed.

Homestead is talented with QB Joshua Townsend RB Issac Brown and WR Cortez Mills-

If they don’t shoot themselves in the foot it will be a good game.

Did STA get another qb because the one I seen begging of the year was terrible. Unless he improv that much because sta been scoring a lot of points

to play in a high school stadium.

sh*t is all out of wack an makes no sense..but the fhsaa is a mess since i was in high school 20 years ago

Have the worst state title games an venues ive seen and ive lived in multiple other states but its some B.S.in the best state for high school football

sta has like 4 div 1 rbs and 2-3 div 1 wrs they are ok on offense to put up numbers.

If u have a weak dl they will just maul you.

No-He’s Andrew Indorf he’s a Jr from Miami
His first game was a rough one against St.John Bosco but, he’s gotten much better he’s a very good player-

They have a freshman QB Derrick Baker who’s one of the best in the country in his age group when he’s a Sr he’s going to have a lot of teams after him:

You’re probably right-

Homestead has a really good team with some major D-1 talent-STA just has a lot more their depth is the difference-

Against Gaither STA did not have their top 2 Wr’s in Chance Robinson and James Madison and DT Justin Bodford did not play either-

Ah’mari Stevens and Julius Jones 2 freshmen WR’s filled in and we’re spectacular.

thats how sta beats team locally. They hoard talent.

Having just played Homestead...i dont think their dline is enough to corral sta if sta just wants to run the ball. Though Homestaead has an active lb who looks like he can play group of 5 or fcs atleast.
Homestead has a tall cb and a pghysicl safety not sure their years.

Agree-

Chaminade, AH Plantation,Central do the same acquiring talent- Norland starting doing it now their playing for a state championship-

All the above have kids from Palm Beach,Broward and of course Dade-
Central has 3 kids from California-

STA has RB Stacey Gage who was at IMG he’s from the Orlando area-

Undoubtedly ACC officials were flown in for the game.

Exactly. It's treated like it's nothing special. Other states have events surrounding the game, the TV broadcasts are nice, etc.
It's a joke the way Florida treats this game and high school football as a whole. It gets barely any coverage.
 
Really hope they are on tv

I live in miami and every time i see a hs football on bally its a Georgia game while its games going on here

100% coach. It’s a disgrace. Esp when you compare to the imo prototype for this echelon of hsfb Texas.

We are a first class state by any metric except for the backwoods organizing body.
