I’m a fan of Thad and wish he hadn’t transferred but he wasn’t as physical as his size would indicate. Both have good instincts and vision but Fletcher actually runs like he’s 230

Thad is a basketball player at heart. He doesn’t seem to love football. While he is a smoother, more coordinated runner than Fletcher, he doesn’t work as hard and does not play as physical. Fletcher is bigger than some of our DEs and plays violent. He is also more versatile than Franklin and can do more in the passing game.

This is usually what it comes down to. Thad needed to stack muscles on muscles on muscles for his game to work. Also, a runningback without hands or blocking in 2022 is a deeply flawed NFL prospect.
