Headlined by quarterback Cam Ward’s selection as 2024 ACC Preseason Player of the Year, the Miami Hurricanes placed five players on the 2024 Preseason All-ACC Team released Thursday.

Ward, the lone quarterback on the conference’s preseason team as voted by media, was joined by wide receiver Xavier Restrepo, defensive end Rueben Bain, Jr., linebacker Francisco Mauigoa and kicker Andy Borregales on the Preseason All-ACC Team.

Yeah he would have to be the 3rd back on that list. Quick look and FSU is the only school who's closest to us in players selected with 4. The next closest is Louisville (1 on each side), VT (both on defense), and Syracuse (1 on each side) with 2. Cal has 1 but it's Jayden Ott! Everyone else on our ACC schedule has 0.

This tells me the conference writers believe in the talent but voted us to finish 3rd....Why is this? In my opinion I think they don't believe in CMC!!

If we have 5 of the best 24 players in the ACC then winning less than 11 games would be a travesty.

It’s at least the most we’ve had since 2019, I was looking back yesterday to see how we’ve fared in the final all ACC team vs preseason. (Preseason/Final)
