FIU blocks transfer from The U

i think what he is trying to say is that FIU won't allow one of the former players who is now transferring out of the program, to transfer to Miami. Hence the term "blocks transfer". It's a **** move in the sense if he wanted to transfer from FIU to Miami, FSU or Florida he is pretty decent and wants to be part of a more nationally recognized football program, and to block him from making a decision that could positively influence his life in more ways than one is an ******* move if you ask me. I am not speaking just on this incident, but on the whole blocking kids from transferring to ____ school in general.

Certain situations I could see why you would block the move, but to a block a kid from going to a much more tradition rich and successful program at a high level that you don't even play is lame.

He decided not to go to Juco and is just going right to a four yr school which allows FIU to put restrictions on the transfer. But yes a **** move considering there allowing anywhere else besides Conf USA schools or MIA.

I can't read the article but judging by the picture its Sophomore DT Fadol Brown.

Anybody got anything on the kid?

as a Chicago Bears fan, I agree with this kid and say **** Ron Turner

Totally agree. This is a huge douche move by a Corch from FIU who SHOULD have an inferiority complex and understand that a kid is trying to make it big time and he simply can't do that at FIU. Real **** move by the Coach not respecting and wishing the kid well by letting him go to a big time D1 school (at Miami).

Let it go Corch, this kid is better than FIU, and no kid will EVER choose between FIU and Miami if he has offers from both. Grow up little man.

I don't think it's that douche. How would they expect to keep and players that end up doing well. they don't want to end up being a minor league team.

Too be fair FIU has had two players drafted higher than anyone from UM the last two drafts... That being said if he is so big time what did he do at FIU??? No one on here knows who he is... Just go juco and prove yourself...

I always had issues with transfers who did little to nothing at institutions below or on par with our institution... Sort of like the wideout from UF who was transferring here every year after 07... I know someone will say A. Brown but lets remember he was slated to start here as a true junior... If he didn't dominate sun belt comp what makes you think he'll contribute here...

watch a game of theirs today against Troy.

FIU's dline honestly is bigger than ours weight wand height wise at spots...he was definiately a big an active kid.

if im him i still try to come to um...he;ll definately be a roatation guy for us.
