He's moving to Akron to share a studio apartment with Brian Windhorst?

Ugh.

I had a bad feeling when Pete changed his twitter to a background of the Eye of the Tiger that's at the LSU midfield. He still has JR Smith there as before, but the Eye is new and the tagline made a reference to Miami before but now it says "bidness decisions". He may have changed it back because he was catching grief for it.

I also thought it was strange that he was getting retweeted ALOT lately by this Jon Drummond dude.

The guy gets interviews from prospects which is nice. But really, what football knowledge does this guy have? Everyone relies on Pete for evals on guys when there are several coaches on this site.

Pete is a college student with no playing or coaching experience and everybody on this site trusts his word on evaluations from him like it's the word of god.

People trust Peter because he puts in the work. He is constantly out there at the high schools watching prospects talking to coaches going to camps and scouting lots of games.

There are also more well known analysts who he's repeatedly scooped and he is rarely wrong when he puts a trust your boy tag on it. Peter also is objective. People will really want to believe in something like for instance Griffin coming in and he will flat out come in the thread and just say no.

He's got cred because after the Matthew Thomas fiasco he worked harder and developed more and better contacts.

It's not about his evaluations. It's about the stories he brings.

Also, he's one of the few posters who'll go to guys and give his opinion. For those of us who can't go to games we appreciate the info he brings.

Nobody is hanging on his every word for his evaluations but it's nice to have someone who's seen a player live's opinion.

BTW, you sound mad butthurt for some reason.

What's wrong with that?

Better than, "let them starve."
