Hope you didn’t blink.

if we only had corners that could tackle and cover we would be unstoppable. Get the freshman in I seen #20 Patterson in at the end. They need to give more young guys chances. Harris ain’t it. Also Powell takes horrible angles all the time too he’s good at stopping the run but he doesn’t have the speed when we get beat on the backside to get back in time. It’s not all on them tho. The defense needs to tackle better as a whole. When teams get us in space they eat us up. To come off a bye week with 2 weeks to prepare and this is what they do? The run to the left we gave up was the same crap Florida did to us. You would have thought we would learn our lesson by now but nope. I love my Canes but if we keep this up on the defensive side of the ball someone will knock us off. Maybe not in the regular season but when we get in the playoff we ain’t winning it all with this defense. I’m sure everyone knows this already just my 2 cents. Thank goodness for Cam Ward and the offense. It wasn’t the prettiest but a wins a win I’ll take it 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻.

It's gotten worse as the competition has improved. For whatever reason, we've not been able to contain on the outside and we're missing way to many open field tackles.

It's not going to get dominant but we have an easier stretch here to rebuild some confidence and tighten the screws. The talent in the backend is what it is, but we hurt ourselves too often.
