FINAL: Miami WBB Drops 68-64 Heartbreaker to Virginia Tech

The University of Miami women’s basketball team fell in heartbreaking fashion to Virginia Tech (10-6, 1-2) Sunday afternoon by a final score of 68-64.

The Hurricanes (11-4, 1-3) led for 32 minutes and 56 seconds throughout the contest; however, they surrendered a 12-point lead in the fourth quarter, as the Hokies ended the game on a 21-5 run to earn the victory.

Sorrowful week of Miami BB continuing. Ladies down big at half to a bad Syracuse with 25% shooting and 15 turnovers. Would be 4th loss in a row.

OFC anything can happen (and did!) Earlier today SMU was up by 32 at half over Pittsburgh (WBB) who then had a 28-0 3rd period and finally won by 13! Biggest WBB comeback ever.

Cavinder looks awful, i guess too much celebrating her BF from Georgia signing with Canes CFB!
