Spent time last week with James Coley.

Feldman says:

*Duke Johnson is one of the best pure football players in the whole country

*Sees us as a 9 win team, will play with anybody because of the offense, sees our defense as mediocre at best due to the d-line

Nothing Earth shattering, but they are talking about us in March again and the reviews are all positive.

Feldman or Coley sees us as a 9 win team (I assume Feldman, but it is not entirely clear in your post)? Same question for the d-line comment. I actually agree that is a realistic expectation, but wouldn't want to hear a coach say it. Also sounds like our d-line and overall d are stepping up based on the first scrimmage, so I wonder if the mediocre at best comment incorporates that performance.

Thread got funny with the Corey Feldman rout. Heard interview, they asked Bruce Feldman what his outlook is of Miami since we return so many. He said, as the OP stated, that he sees us as a 9 win team with possibly one of the best offenses in the country that can hang with anyone but that the defense AT BEST will be mediocre because there is no impact player in the Dline ala "typical Miami teams."
