Ezzard visiting January 19th

Thank God none of you guys are making this decision. Kid had 300 yards receiving and 5 TD's in one game. When did any of the bum *** receivers of Moore, Thorton, or who ever else you guys are naming do that?

To say Ezzard reminds anyone of Dingle is comical. All of those questioning his speed he ran a 4.75 40 which is as fast as Kevin Austin who is one of the fastest receivers is sfl.

Your actually watching the tape right?
When I watch Austin I see 4.4/4.5 speed.
When I watch Ezzard I actually see 4.7 speed.
Bruh on the very first play of his senior film you can clearly see he ain't fast. Boy created 0 separation on that kickoff play. He actually almost got ran down by the kicker then another dude.
ON THE VERY NEXT PLAY (another kickoff) He got caught by the kicker...

He ain't Miami Caliber. Not to mention, FSU has a HORRIBLE reputation for selecting WRs and I see why.

Let me make sure your watching the right highlight tape. You can't be seeing what I'm seeing.

Those are highlights from his sophomore year, bro.

LOL at “we already have enough speed.” You can never have enough speed.

I agree but it would be nice to have big bodied wr with excellent hands to rely on for first downs and red zone.

You can get those without sacrificing the ability to separate at the high school level. Brian Hightower for example
Brevin Jordan and will mallory too. There isn’t really a need for Ezzard
If Cox is part of the deal, then there is a need. Otherwise...whatever.

Get a big fast guy if you want a big guy. I think we have ample size already at WR. We need more guys who get open and scare the **** out of defenses with their speed.

I was going to say he reminds me of dingle in the sense that he's a great football player but he is already struggling to create separation in HS. He does make contested catches but someone who has a bunch of contested catches is HS? Idk that screams that's he's not creating enough separation or not running good routes yes he could devolep but you never know.

I really don't think Grimes is an option hasn't stated he's transferring and also pretty much said he couldnt wait to get back up there

Would love to get Tutu Atwell from northwestern. I agree we need more speed at WR

I don't know if you have seen Hightower's tape, but where is all this separation you speak of.

Ezzard's new senior highlights look way better than a previous clip that was posted here. The other video started off with him getting caught from behind on a few kick returns, which may not have even been from this season.

Think he'd be a really nice addition to the class. Looks strong and physical with ball skills.

I have no idea what you guys are looking at. Ezzard is more impressive than Wiggins (like him too). This is a 200 lb WR running away smaller CB's on crossing and post routes. Returns kicks for TD's at 6-1 200 lbs. He uses his big body really well on fade routes. Make tough catches and adjusts to the ball.

Look at the 2.50 mark in the video above. He catches a bubble screen at 200 lb, makes a nice cut to make a man miss, and then outruns the entire defense with an angle to the house. Did the same thing on the prior play. Nobody should be questioning his speed. It's plenty good enough for a 200 lb possession WR.

Like I said before, Richt has y'all spoiled.

If he's anything close to Boldin, that's a really good receiver. That was one FSU receiver that I really had wished we got.

Boldin may be the best WR FSU has had (in recent times - obviously Biletnikoff is in the HOF).

Much closer to an Anquan Boldin than a Dingle.

“Miami wide receivers coach Ron Dugans visited Marquez Ezzard Thursday morning and before leaving Stockbridge (Ga.), there was an official visit scheduled.

Ezzard let Rivals know that he will travel to Coral Gables the weekend of January 19. Ole Miss will have Ezzard on campus this weekend and he took his first official visit to Oregon last month.”

4th WR close the deal Dugans

Kid’s film is crazy. A WR pull of him, Hightower, Pope and Wiggins along with the DB class we are setting up to pull is ridiculous! These coaches can recruit!! The fact that some people don’t want this guy as our 4th WR is mind blowing to me. Kids from GA can ball too

Not a fan. Doesnt create separation

Why take ezzard when we already rotate our WRs too much and only lose Berrios? Taking 7 WRs in 2 years doesn’t bode well for our rotations and depth. Ezzard is a Miami caliber WR, but so are others we’ve turned down. Much like our db situation, we have to make tough evaluations and balance our roster. I question using 4 spots on WRs instead of holding it for a 2019 wr or other position (LB, Dline) this cycle.

Not that my opinion matters since it’s looking like he will end up a cane, but I don’t agree with the decision to take him. That 300 yard game gives me some hope though
