“Miami wide receivers coach Ron Dugans visited Marquez Ezzard Thursday morning and before leaving Stockbridge (Ga.), there was an official visit scheduled.

Ezzard let Rivals know that he will travel to Coral Gables the weekend of January 19. Ole Miss will have Ezzard on campus this weekend and he took his first official visit to Oregon last month.”

4th WR close the deal Dugans

I don't think we really need a 4th WR in this class. I'd rather nab another DL or OL.

If we do take one, it better be a really good one.

If this guy is that good, then let's get him. Or Grimes if there is any interest there.

Said his top three are Ole Miss, Oregon, Miami.

Ole Miss got nuked by sanctions, Oregon doesn't have a coach and Miami has 2 commits from Georgia as well as DeeJay Dallas on the team already.

Got to like our chances here.

Can’t justify possibly choosing this kid over someone like grimes who is out there .
Edit: I’ll take the L here. Dumb post without watching his recent film. Still would take grimes over him but Ezzard can play as well

He’s not better than grimes
Edit: after watching his senior film he’s definitely a good prospect and while he may not have elite speed it’s still good enough to play at Miami. And he’s a physical receiver being 6’1 210 already

Would the staff let Dugans continue to go out there and recruit if they knew he was gone? Makes me wonder?

post injury Grimes. Who knows how explosive he is now.

Ezzard's new senior highlights look way better than a previous clip that was posted here. The other video started off with him getting caught from behind on a few kick returns, which may not have even been from this season.

Think he'd be a really nice addition to the class. Looks strong and physical with ball skills.

Looks like a good ball player worthy of a ship. Can he run great routes and catch the rock every rep? Hopefully.

Richt got these dudes spoiled. A couple years ago this would be Golden's best WR prospect and dudes would be wetting themselves.

Tremendous senior film... he's not the fastest, but he does get enough separation and won the contested balls (albeit in his highlights)

I like this kid's skill set, he's pretty big and he can high point the football. He doesn't have breakaway speed but from his tape/highlights it looks like he can be a pretty good possession receiver at the next level and we all know we have gamebreakers in Ahmmon, Jeff Thomas, Mike Harley and Mark Pope for next year.

So many of you guys literally only look at speed at wr. Would you rather have Anquan Boldin or Phillip Dorsett? Would you prefer Hines Ward or Travis Benjamin? How about all those 50/50 balls that someone like Harley had zero chance of pulling down. Guys like Ezzard are needed to move the sticks consistently. We have Thomas, Harley, and Pope for speed which is plenty to work with. We have Cager who is softer than Charmin, Njoku coming off bad injury (let alone no playing time yet to prove himself), Langham whose going to be a senior and makes Ezzard look like a 4.3 guy when it comes to speed, etc. So how about we land a possession Wr that can win 50/50 balls every now and then???

IF Grimes wants in, and you take this dude over him then Rick is out of it. This kid looks like a nice prospect, but he can’t hold Grimes’s strap.

ssshhh, apparently we only need WRs with speed apparently. Who cares if you struggle to beat press coverage(Harley), dont fight for the ball (Thomas), or can barely find it to high-point it (Cager, though he looked slightly better at it later in the year)
