From camp reports and the scrimmages it seems as if he is pretty **** good and has taken a huge step forward. This is the type of freak accident that puts gamers on the spot. Willis Mcgahee is the last one I can remember taking full advantage of a backup to starting role and shining!!!

Need Kaaya here asap! By all accounts the kid seems to work his *** off and want it big time. So, he will at least continue to push Olsen to be better.

Hope he realizes the opportunity in front of him and takes full advantage. We've seemingly heard nothing positive about him since he's arrived and he needs to exploit this lucky break.

Feel terrible for Williams, but I won't lie, with Olsen in the fold, I'm more excited for the upcoming season.

He looked really good rolling to his left. Squared his shoulders, and threw a strike. He's got the tools, all he needs is reps.

Im excited to see what this kid can do. If he handles his business in the offseason then we may have ourselves a good one.

I've been in the indifferent camp when it comes to the QB position. I've liked both guys for very different reasons.

Olsen, being the sibling of a 7th floor crew member, is a football player to his core. You can tell that he's a tough, scappy kid that is willing to play dirty. I like that ****, a lot. Vern was talking about this offense being primarily run as a result of RW's injury; but I thought we were going to be an o-zone/boot team anyways. We might scrap a large portion of the quick passing game, but we gain a more diverse drop/PA deep ball game.

I'm excited.

It's his job to run with right now. How he handles the off season and working with the receivers will go a long way in our success next year.

I expect Kaaya to be given a fair shot to win the job and I think it comes down to the wire. Kaaya is Coley's boy. Either way, its an interesting opportunity to start a new era of canes football fresh and hopefully get some continuity at the QB position (other than 4 years of Jacory)

I find it hard to get excited about anyone facing our defense. If you can't get it done against them, you're at the very bottom of college quarterbacks.

Olsen needs to put on his Viking War helmet. It's time to yield the ax! It's time to pillage the college football world.

Pete what's up with your dislike for Olsen? I'm not sure if you elaborated on it or not. It looks like he is a having a really good spring
