Staff cool taking only one this year and then taking an additional next year ?

Or do we leave that extra scholly for an extra DT (chatman saying we have room and the two DTs leaving for instance)


Didn't wanna start another thread but this deserves it. If anything who did we even show interest in other than art and williams?

After Rosier leaves next year it's just Williams Perry and Weldon with Weldon not looking too promising

Not to mention if Perry beats out Rosier and Rosier grad transfers this spring it could be that we only have

Perry Weldon and williams for '18

Any potentials?

No we roll next year with 4. Possibly three if Weldon or Rosier transfer.

If both transfer, then we rolling with 2?
 
We aren't chasing another QB this late in the game and we don't really need to. We will probably bring in 2 next year though.
 
Nah. Get rid of the guys before and start taking one every year. We’re fine. Ideally rosier stays and we next year we take another and have 3-4 depending on Weldon.

just would be real crazy if/when perry beats out rosier this spring then rosier bails

leaving us with

perry

Weldon
Williams

one blow to perry's knee away from a thrown away season on Williams or Weldon's inexperienced arms
 
Is there anything our fanbase doesn't cry about? Sherrifs was basically a walk-on talent who would have been 5th string this year. I think we'll be fine
 
There is no one worth taking this late.

This is a great move for Miami and sherrifs. For 1 he won’t be getting valuable reps over players that can actually helps us in 2018(perry or Williams) 2 it’s a good move for sherrifs as he couldn’t play effectively at this left and can transfer elsewhere.

Take 2 in 2019 and call it a day

you people whine every year when we only take 1

just wondering if we have any schollies or potential candidates to take his spot

if rosier bails after losing the job i'm sure you'll be one of the first complaining on how we didn't have more qb's
 
Good for Evan. He exceeded expectations here and will have two to play somewhere else. I see him at Georgia Southern, App. St, Furman type schools where he could shine. Maybe even Duke.

Duke?

He would be 4th string at best at Duke. And GA Southern runs the option. This entire thread shows our fans don't follow CFB outside Miami, which is why they're so delusional

UGA, who our fans love to suck off, has 2 scholarship QBs next year, one of whom is a frosh.

Yet OP cries about us having 4 on the roster. lol
 
Some of you guys have really liberal definitions for the word "cry".

OP asked if we'll take another QB because our numbers are now lower than we anticipated.

Everybody seems to be on the same page the we won't because we don't really need to and it wouldn't be effective anyway.

Pretty cut and dry.
