I didn't see it, but I heard about it. I just want to throw this out there for Cane fans who have been mislead by the "fumble" in 88

There was no fumble. It wasn't ruled a fumble. Pat Haden kept talking it up, which distracted the viewing audience from what was happening on the field. The officiating crew blew it big time. Cane fans, don't ever get caught up in the "fumble" discussion, as though it really happened. You want to know what happened?

Here it is. Read it, and don't forget it.

**** you **** you **** you! I have that horror locked up deep deep deep deep in the recesses of my mind, why are you making me relive it?!!! Only time in my life I cursed at God, forever scarring me.

When they talked about it on Gameday, all of the commentators said that it was a TD and not a fumble; there wasnt even a debate.

This is part of UM's house of horrors. along with:
testeverde penn state int.
2000 national championship invite going to FSU
2002 Nat championship end zone flag
NCAA SANCTIONS AND NEVIN SHAPIRO

This and the Terry Porter fiasco cost us 2 titles. Should be 7 rings....then people ask why Canes fans always have this belief there is a bias against them.

Nope - JJ warned the team before the game that if they left it up to the ref's they would pay and that is what happened

Would just love to embarrass him and hear his comments on the refs admitting they blew the call and ND basically lost the game.
