Obviously ESPN is difficult to trust now-a-days. Recently they had Duke ranked the #11 player in the ACC from this past season. I don't think there were 11 players in the ACC better or more important for their team than Duke, but what you guys think?

I'm pretty sure Morris will be in the top 10 as well.

/I realize these rankings aren't important as we know how good Duke is. Just a topic to discuss.

Who knows and as you said, it doesn't mean jack at this point. Going into this season, he may very well be the most important player in the ACC.

Morris wasnt better than Duke this past season

Real Curious to see if she puts David Amerson in the top 10. That would just show its a sham

Morris was def not more impressive than The Duke. But he was really impressive over all I thought. Definitely surpassed my expectations.

I grudgingly rewatched Notre Lame game yesterday, and he was playing by himself out there. Scrambling, avoiding sacks, making passes on a rope on the run. He was just getting no help. He definitely ended the season on an upward trend and if that carries over into spring ball and fall camp, watch out. With all the weapons he is going to have, he might have a greater impact on our success next year than The Duke.

An argument can be made that Curtis Porter is the most important player to the team.

That would be a quick argument and you would probably lose.
Curtis Porter is probably the fulcrum for the Defensive Line, and is an important player but not the most important player on the team or even on the defense.

Now if you made an argument that Goudis may be the most important player on the team, since he is right now our kicker and punter with no scholarship backup, you might have won that one.

The argument would be between Duke and Morris. If either went down their absence would lead directly to many losses.
If Porter went down, that might not necessarily be the case.

Seeing as Duke has official odds at a chance of winning the Heisman, it seems pretty counter-intuitive that he is only the 11th best in the ACC. Also, he's our only player in the top 25 right now? There better be like at least 4 out of the remaining ten on that list as Miami. Morris, Linder, Perryman, Bush

Morris probably will be because Herder Dernich has a crush on him. Seen before where she thought he could challenge Boyd as the best QB in the ACC. While I think Linder and Bush should be on there, I don't see them being put ahead of Duke.

She is just basing it off last year

Morris is the only guy who might be on that list
