Not such a bold prediction on Vag Tech. They're going to stifle Ohio Taint, and their ACC schedule is weak.

This will be a vintage Pud Foster defense. Maybe the best d they've had in 10 years. They are loaded on defense and will be top 5 in the country on that side of the ball.

Been saying Duke will make a Heisman run despite the butt bags on here who think he's overrated and keep pounding the drum that he hasn't destroyed any great teams.

Duke is poised to explode on the scene. He's already been great, but he's going to take it to a new level this year. That stiff arm with the extra muscle he's packed on is going to go through someone's chest like Bruce Lee. He'll be running down the field with some poor smuck's heart in his hand. That might even make the CIS crying crew respect him.

why are people on VT? Who's playing QB? Beamer ball hasn't been that efficient for the past couple of seasons. I just don't get the fascination w/ them.

That defense is going to be lethal this year. That's why. Combine that with a weak ACC schedule and their history of winning or competing for the coastal every year, and they're actually a pretty safe pick.

VT folks are saying that their D will be the best in the country. Foster is going to design bad things for Kaaya. Don't think we have much of a chance up there.
VT winning the Coastal is a very safe pick.

Duke had over a hundred yards against fsu before he got hurt

Not only that, he was about to bust out a HUGE run that got blown dead..like could've been like 70 yards-.Dude could've been at like 180 with almost a half to play against fsu.

Sounds like 2005.

Oh, well, if VT folks are saying that, then I guess it must be so. Also, Foster designing "bad things" for Kaaya? We may as well not even play...because who ever heard of something as crazy as an opposing coach trying to design ways to get to the other team's QB? I bet Arky State is going to try to get to Kaaya as well. We should forfeit that game too.

Meh.

Assuming Kayaa is still the starter at that point, he'll have seven starts behind him. Freshman jitters will be long gone. So bring it.

BOLD Prediction: ESPN as a whole (with the sole exception of Danny freakin' Kannell) will spend the entirety of this season confusing us all to which specific channel is The $EC Network as they'll ALL sound quite similar.
