I watched Penn State vs Oregon and Clemson vs SMU with pain and disgust. The floor for Mario next year is an appearance in the ACC Championship. His seat should rightfully be hot if we don’t make it to the ACC championship next year. No undisciplined team with penalties. No game day blunders. Enough is enough. Mario do it next year or get the moving.

Hope so. Lots of wasted time with him thus far. Three years in and this looks like a big mistake. That said, as big of a mirage as it is, he did go 10-2. Next year should be decisive though. One way or the other. We get to the next level or cut bait.

Ain't gonna happen buddy...look at next year's schedule. We play Notre Dame, Florida, NC St, Syracuse, and Louisville at home, and we play SMU, Pitt and VT on the road. Mario needs the best transfer portal class ever to be competitive for an ACCCG appearance next year. 7-5 give or take a win...6-6 to 8-4

Unfortunately, you will probably be disappointed.

Mario hit his ceiling this year. Cakewalk schedule, generational QB - and still could not get it done.

I wish there was more hope, but let’s be honest, 7-5 is likely ext year.
I don't think 7-5 but I doubt we win 10 games again even though that is my bare minimum expectation for Mario/Miami as long as we're in the ACC.

Without seeing who we're playing, we'll probably be favored in all 8 ACC games again and one of UF or ND and both of the other non-conf games.

So we'll be favored in 10+ games again, per usual.

If it is 7-5 next year, then I am officially off the Mario train. I know this is not original, but I’ll say it anyways… How is this any better than if we would have just kept Manny and given him the Mario resources?

Yep there is 2-3 Wario specials there already...

That's before we look at variables like say the QB position and if we were to strike out there.

The sad thing is this was our year. We had the best QB in the ACC and country.

Next year, we'll be facing teams where their young QBs will be experienced. Pitt, SMU, NC State, VT, and Syracuse all had young QBs that will have had a full year of ACC play under their belt.

Next year is going to be rough, but expect a big bounce back in 2026. Might want to find a hobby in 2025 though.

Syracuse and Virginia Tech did not have young quarterbacks. McCord is out of eligibility after this year and Drones will be a fifth year senior.

NC State’s young quarterback was begging to come here but Dawson preferred Judd Anderson.

Syracuse had a senior QB. I’m pretty sure he’s out of eligibility next year.

Kyron Drones was young as a junior?

What are we talking about here lol

I agree with you 100%, if this win by Clemson does not burn in Mario’s stomach, he should be fired! I cannot believe, we lost to GTU and Cuse add were eliminated from the championship game! This is sad!

do you guys not see some of the blunders other coaches make? he needs to fire giudry and make the right hire.
what I do see is teams running basic defense - no stunting and exotic nonsense. Line up and get your man.

You cannot tell me we couldn't have run a similar system to SMU at the very least...

Miami will be preseason #4 in ACC next season.

1.)Clemson-returns QB, WRs, Woods and Parker on DL, Brown and Woodazz at LB, and 3/4's of their secondary.

2.)GT-returns basically everyone if they want.

3.)SMU-loses alot of OL/DL and Brashard Smith, but will get nod over Miami due to Jennings QB year 2.

4.)Miami-Loses alot on offense, but returns some really good players. Best OL in ACC, best RB duo in ACC, good TE room, talented DL and LB group, and 2 of better young CBs in ACC in OJ and Demari.
