Emory Williams [Not in portal]

Emory would be best to use spring as an audition for the portal. There’s G5 programs that would pick him up. I don’t think any program would just guarantee a starting position but barring catastrophic injuries, he’s never starting here. Criticize the play not the player. I’m sure he’s a good dude and a great teammate but he’s not a good quarterback. How are you 6’5” and getting half your passes batted down? D’Eriq King is shaking his head in Dallas.

I'm tired of players feelings having an impact on who plays/who doesnt, what coaches to keep or not keep.

Guess what. You wanted to get paid, you are getting paid. Its officially a business now.

I'm also one of the few who roll my eyes at "well coaches can up and leave for more money anytime they want."

Yeah...they can because most of them put in 4-5 years of playing college and then bounced around (sometimes with a family) to try and make ends meet and move their way up. So yeah when a 50 year old guy who probably slept on a floor making 5000 per semester as a GA and then moved to the middle of nowhere to make 15K coaching special teams, etc etc decides to leave a school after 2-3 years because someone offered them life changing money...yeah I'm good with it.

But some kid who hasnt done anything other than get a 4th star from some slap **** website because he beat a kid with no pads on 2 years ago; I could really care less how he is treated now that he is getting paid.

Sorry, end rant/

I agree. (unless you are talking about Jordan Lyle, then it is up to him whether we agree or not)

If he wants to play then try things out at a G5, he's never going to be a starter here. He not only does not have the physical tools for it but he does not process the game fast enough. Dude was an absolute disaster in the bowl game and cost us a win.

Kid snapped his arm in half trying to win this game. Although he isn't starter material, I won't clown him.
Photo perfectly encapsulated his accuracy issues. Donest utilize the laces and pushes the ball downfield rather than actually throwing it. This has been brought up before by others and just shows what many already knew after year one.

I’m assuming no laces means that’s a photo of a screen or other short pass
