Edwards just told me that Golden, Coley, and Richardson will all be there so it's obvious that Miami wants this kid badly. He's a take with or without Collins and fits a role that no one on the team can.

Sidenote: Coley was his main recruiter at Florida State so there is already a relationship in place there.

So the boys are in NY today huh? I wonder what other "business" they have up there...

HE HE. Our coaching staff are GOONS as well....just not the type to violate any rules. I wonder what else they will pull out of the sky on signing day.

Mike James was a straight up tailback. This kid is a hybrid fullback / running back. We need someone once Hagens leaves to lead block, but this kid has more ability to make plays than Hagens does. Quad Hill is a better comparison in my opinion.

Someone give me the skinny on Edwards. He's obviously a big back - is he supposed to be a Mike James all purpose dude (tailback, fullback, etc.), or is he coming in as a FB?

Edwards reminds me of former CANE Stephen McGuire who played that FB/HB type role

Yea was trying to get that he is a bigger type of back that could line up at TB and FB.

Really like those type of Backs because if the kid can catch the ball out of the backfield its usually a favorable match-up for the offense.
