Eduardo Clements the forgotten Hurricane

Eduardo Clements wont lay down if Collin or Green enter the Greetree Field
in spring 2013 . Clements on the field production is limited due to injury.
Now Eduardo enter his SR. year at U.Miami,looking to have a better
season then last year as the forgotten Hurricane...

I ask you Canes fans :

What if Green and Collin commit to play college football elsewhere..

1.Do you want Al Golden to reach for another running back ?

2.Do you want Ray Lewis III to begin his career at running back?

3.Do you say "lets go with status quo " in Clements,Duke and Dillard ?

Darius Tice would be my backup plan.

RL3 should get an opportunity to compete at RB.

Dallas Crawford is there as well.

OT showed some flashes of real talent when called upon in '11. IF he can stay healthy he should be in line for plenty of touches next year as a senior. The reason I voted for RLIII at RB on the poll is because I doubt Carter and Bush get beat out once established. But like when Big Ray came in, how much are we sleepin on dude? We know one thing, effort and football IQ will NOT be an issue.

Was very disappointed in OTs season this year. Really thought he was going to break out. There are a lot of carries available, hope he takes advantage of it his senior season.

OT is what he is, a good team guy who will benefit by getting a degree from the University of Miami. One of those guys who got the recruiting bump for being a multi year starter at one of the perennial power inner city schools. I dont think he even broke 1k in his junior or senior year of HIGH SCHOOL.

Dillard is no RB at Miami IMO. we need help at that spot immediately. I'm not sure that Clements and Crawford can fill in the holes for Duke. throw in an injury to one of those guys and we are screwed.

we have to take a RB IMO. Collins would play right away and is the best choice. another guy like the MNW kid would be a good insurance policy to Clements/Crawford with the possibility of developing into a nice back

It should be noted that there have been suggestions that Clements MIGHT be gone. Even if those were complete speculation and false,
we need to pick up another running back for depth regardless. RB's take too many hits to go into the season with the stable stocked as it is now.
We need to get at least one of the local guys if all the other higher profile running backs fall through.

Also, everyone likes what golden is starting to do with the local kids, and that is great. However, some are also saying take noone and grab sony and cook next year, roll with what we have (not necessarily anyone here).
there is no guarantee that both will be canes, and neither can help us next year if two on the current roster get hurt.

Al needs to get one, reach or not.

I'm basing my comments about Dillard off of what I saw in his film. just dont see a Miami caliber RB in that film. could be wrong but I doubt it.

If there is another guy out there that coach thinks can play here, take him. But if its just JAGS, put RLII there and use the hole to recruit the **** out of best two guys you can get next year.
