Versatile defender from Hallandale picks up Canes offer. CB, S or Striker potential.
Chase smith comp? I say we take a kid like this every class. Hybrid linebacker safety striker type6'5 215lbs DB.
He was originally at Miramar Everglades & then was at Hialeah last year. He's a Coach Rosegreen kid along with other 22 DB's that transferred to HDale Alfonzo Allen & Jaylin Marshall.
Been picking up offers from a bunch of P5 schools over the last couple days, Penn St, Va Tech, Tennessee, Pitt & Maryland.
They play him at CB but he projects best at Safety/Striker, fits the mold of the new style freakish DB's like Isaiah Simmons, Jayron Kearse, Hamsah Nasirildeen etc, that are multi-use Defenders that you can move all around the Secondary & even line up at LB spots.
For a kid his size he's got very good pad level, hip fluidity & change of direction, he looks good in Press man, not sure he's really had defend too many legit WR's he's gone up against given that Hallandale has a only played Piper & South Broward, but he's got raw skills that translate to the next level with some teaching.
Are you guys talking about Junior Rosegreen former strong safety?being coached with my homie at Hallandale. He has the size in the secondary that Randy Shannon/Mike Rumph fantasize over.
He will promote his kids..he played at Auburn though and is an sec guy.
yupAre you guys talking about Junior Rosegreen former strong safety?
His “uncle” posted on the Miami FB page right after the offer. He was all types of happy. He said there was no way he would let him go anywhere but Miami even if he had to “pull him there by his dreads.”
Agree with thisIf he has CB skills at that size, then he'll make a excellent LB/Blitzer. Only problem we don't have a defensive staff that can coach him up or scheme. #HireWinstonMoss
