is becoming a player for us. With Perryman next to him there is hope. Hopefully Kirby can be the missing link there. Now only if the DLine.........:ohlord:

To think that he was ridiculously close to being kicked off the team less than 2 weeks ago...
 
Johnson looked very good yesterday. He was all over the field making tackles. Maybe we found ourself a nice strong side linebacker

Going to be tough with the worst D line we have ever had.

I liked what I saw from EJ...this line backing corp should be very nice by the end of the season. Lord knows they will be making the majority of the tackles... Since the d-line isn't
 
Pretty much the only bright spot yesterday, kid played a strong game and needs to play a lot more.

Someone needs to explain to me why he was a two-star recruit. He's huge, he runs a 4.6, he was All-State in Georgia and his film was ridiculous.

I had him fourth in the 2010 rank-the-recruits thread (behind Chick, Perryman and Dorsett) and I had to hedge by saying that he may or may not be a child molester. Seriously, what else could have kept him from being recruited by anybody?

Can't wait to get Kirby back. I can roll with a Kirby, Perryman, Johnson LB core, that's mean and nasty. Now lets get DL and S fixed and we might have something working.

His recruitment was curious. I remember people swearing he was a physical freak, but all I saw was his 2-star rating.

Not sure what was going on there.

Bicho will allow the coaches to say this guy doesnt know whether the ball is pumped or stuffed because at least sometimes he makes a play.
 
In addition to the short jersey, we need guys who look like they are 26. EJ fits the bill.
