Well, you make a terrible QB into a Heisman winner by playing ten yards off the recivers, not pass rushing, and letting him walk for first downs.
 
thomas is guaranteed to give the defense at least 2 or 3 shots at ints every game. western carolina picked him off twice last week, cant believe he was hyped as a possible top NFL pick

NFL talking heads are always more obsessed about what guys do in the weight room and what their measurables are. It's how guys like Russell Wilson get lost in the shuffle behind guys like Brock Osweiler.

I don't think so. I think Virginia Tech played their best game of the year against Alabama. Nobody said they had a chance so i think they weremotivated and Alabama was sloppy since it was the first game. I do think Alabama will lose this year twice though.

You must have them losing today and to LSU or 1 game and the SEC title game because the rest of their schedule is nine cupcakes.

Yeah LSU and the title game. Although them losing today would make me happy too.


Granted nick saban is a better coach than I am a spectator at guessing football outcomes I just think LSU will get them this year

If we have a even a slight pulse on offense against VT, we ought to beat them no problem. Their O struggles against a terrible ECU defense.

Unless LSU can come up with an offense against a good team I can't see them beating Bama. I think A&M takes them down today and I say Georgia takes them down in the SEC champ this year. LSU will keep it close but unless they show some semblance of an offense I don't see it.

I was at the game today, and this has to be the worst Beamer team I've seen in years. They will struggle all year to score ; defense is very
Avg, and wow , nothing special about the special teams. On the other hand ECU has a nice team and expect them to win the USA.

It's pretty ridiculous too look at this team in anything more than a 2 year period. How is 10 years ago relevant to the discussion?

Tech is way, way, way down right now. We're on the upswing.
