Quick observations: (you'll notice a theme - we need recruits that can play right away)

QB - We need an alpha male. I would be happy to see Kaaya come in and take the job. That's how desperate I am for real leadership at this position. I don't want it handed to Williams just because he is a senior. I want someone who is a leader and has the balls to seize the job. 2014 is a rebuilding year anyway, so I am fine if we end up with a freshmen starter

HB - Need immediate help from recruits. Although if Edwards blows up in the weightroom and track and gets faster, that might change things. He is the most pivitol player at this position that needs to develop.

FB - Need help in case of injury, plus Tucker is unproven and may go back to LB anyway.

WR - As we saw with injuries, and also our 4 and 5 WR sets, we will need immediate help despite the talent we return at this spot. We need a tall WR too.

TE - Sandland needs to push Walford, so both of them end up being great. Walford really was a good blocker, just inconsistent at times with his hands. Dobard and Odonnell need to take the next step and get ready for 2015.

T - The battle for RT will be intense. I can see some of the incoming recruits taking this spot if Gadbois and Odogwu don't seize it

G - Again, have depth but with injuries and our constant rotating of guys, we still need immediate help

C - McDermott needs to get stronger, period. Very talented and smart, but at times he was overmatched. Our 2014 schedule features some NFL type DTs he will be facing

DE - Need help immediately. Chickillo aint getting any stronger or faster, so we know what we have with him. AQM and McCord have potential, but if they get injured which always seems to be our luck we have NOBODY. This is a position Al should be pretty much promising playing time to recruits if they report in shape.

DT - Probably will be the worst it has ever been at UM since the 70s. Al has nobody but to blame for his recruiting misses over the years and it will cost him this year. He has his buddy Dnofrio to blame as well, as no ELITE defensive tackle wants to play in a 2 Gap system. The ELITE DTs want to get into the backfield and be a star, something Dnofrio does not like. Jethro clearly can't relate to recruits either as he has pulled in nobody. I would imagine we will have another Renfro type transfer as I am sure Al is already scouring the rosters of the nation looking for a DT to transfer. We are in big, big trouble in 2014 at this position.

OLB - Need help immediately. If Perryman leaves, I won't be that upset as he is a great kid but cannot cover anybody in this scheme. In his defense, he has been asked to cover WRs, another stupid idea by Dnofrio. Grace may never play here simply because he is too small. But Grace would be an All American in a 4-3, but Dnofrio will waste his career probably having him match up on TEs.

MLB - Need help immediately. This position might be worse than DT. Once again, running a 3-4 without a true MLB is what will kill us. The 3-4 relies on a MLB that can fill and tackle, and we don't have one.

CB - Solid, solid position. But without a pass rush, this strength may be neutralized. They can only cover for so long.

S - Need help immediately. Got some talent, but need depth.

K - Need someone to push Goudis, and need somebody to kick the ball out of the endzone

P - Need someone immediately. Al will again have to peruse other teams rosters and find a transfer.

I hope every recruit we sign understands that if they get in shape and learn their playbooks, they can play in 2014.

I think you guys a grading our guys a little too tough. we dont need THAT much help next season. I think unless Gadbois/Odogwu emerge as beasts next season, we need to get Bunche playing RT. Feliciano is going to dominate and Isadora was on the verge of getting major playtime this year until he was injured.

Man I know with FSU winning the national title and all we're all about the stars.... but I'm telling you Odogwu and Gadbois both **** sure LOOK the part, seen them in person. Two biggest kids on the team besides Henderson.

Holy **** that front 7 on defense is bad. Probably need to take Perryman out of the equation. We are gonna rely on multiple freshman to play. If we run the same crap we have been its gonna be real ugly.

You guys do realise that players improve from year to year, right?

I mean the depth on D is pretty woeful, but players like Grace, Carter and Burns figure to be huge contributors next year.

It's addition by subtraction anyway with the loss of players I'm not going to bother naming.

Figs and Grace better than Gaines and Tyrone! Our Db's and safeties are very solid. I am FAR more concerned at DT and we need JUCO help. DE is good enough with AQM and 17 backed by Chad Thomas. Chickillo will have to move inside IMO. Even if we lose Denzel I do not think our D will be worse. Stars DO matter (just ask FSU) and we simply will have more 4-5 star players on D next year. However and importantly we need JUCO help at DT to let the others do the work. IF we can find adequate help at DT the other parts (DE, DB, S, and LB) are better than this year.

holy ****, that defense is going to get torched.
first year starter at qb

should have a high draft pick
