If I were E. Clement, I would try to do what Sam Shields did and move to defense. I don't see an NFL future for him at running back. NFL teams love physical CB/S that can run. Clement worked on defense one spring or fall camp then moved to running back to help with depth. The word out of camp was that he was physical. He is not getting RB carries. This is a money year for him. He would have spring and fall camp to work on technique and defensive schemes. He was hurt at the end of the year. I don't remember the type of injury he sustained. If his health allows, I would make a move.

given our lack of depth at RB, it's doubtful the coaches would allow him to move back. Plus, that lack of depth should result in more carries next year.

He'll get plenty of carries next year. We can't run Duke all game long so him and Crawford should see plenty of action.

Frankly he does not look athletic enough to be a DB here IMO. at least the type of athletes that we want back there. RB is his best spot. dude just doesn't really have an NFL future IMO. hope he has a nice year next year though

Agreed. Also, he's short.

I really think he can prove a lot of people wrong... he needs more carries and people will be like, wow... givehim the chance....

Man that game on TV when he was a Soph in HS I think it was, kid was impressive. They played EJ Greens HS team IIRC.

We thought the same thing about Damien "The Dingle" Berry and he beasted out when he got his shot.

this kid is and has always been the real deal...maybe he will finally step up and get some meaningful carries. He runs hard.

I want him to stay at RB him and Duke can be a nice 1-2 I think. If he gets the touches I feel that he can have a season similar to the one Mike James just had.

This, the kid isnt amazing but he is solid, and best of all his best attribute was is ability to catch the ball out of the backfield.

Really thought he'd have a better year than what he had, even before the injury. He had finished strong the year before, and there were definitely carries available for a third guy. Hoping he stays at RB and has a solid last year, but he might get lapped again if one of the new guy's is a stud.

I want him to stay at UM and play offense. We need him at RB next year.

This, kid has been a team player, no reason to move him around now. He's good in short yardage and 3rd down situations and could turn into a nice compliment for Duke.

The guy has like 30 carries in 3 years. He's not a very good running back. Really good special teamer and a decent 3rd down back but if we end up relying on him heavily we're in deep trouble.

He had to hurt his neck on that one special teams play when he came in flying with his head down.
