Dyer is an example of a kid that really believed all of the hype about himself without realizing that you are never truly bigger than the program no matter who you are. Kid had multiple chances at AU and basically blew it. He supposedly failed drug tests, skipped classes, and was generally disliked by a number of players because of his arrogance. He actually still had a small chance to come back to Auburn but when Chizik suspended him for the bowl game he cleared all of his stuff out of his apartment and went to the house. The only good decision the kid made was to not go with those four fools that robbed those kids.
When he came back to testify in the first armed robbery trial, the judge had to admonish him for his attitude in the courtroom. I still don't think the kid realizes the opportunity that he's messing up. He should have tried to stay at AU, maybe balled out this season, and then went pro. It's going to be interesting to see if he actually sticks it out at ARk St, or if he transfers to a smaller school to play right away.
