Yes. I read that you and Pete said Miami wasn't on him. Geo, do you think we get a commit today?

This makes a lot of sense,you would think if they told him they were still interested in him, today would not be the day to decommit.

Exactly. He didn't go to Jr day to decommit. I imagine the coaches had enough respect to tell him where he stood.
 
Felt bad for him. If that twitter screenshot i saw was legit, his decommitment announcement was as mature as it gets.
 
Give the dude credit for going to junior day like a man and competing if that's what he did.

Sometimes, you can be a great prospect but the coaches are only taking a few guys at your position and they see guys they like better. Doesn't mean the dude sucks. Doesn't mean the coaches are right either. Just means they got 3 or 4 spots, and they like a few guys better.

When you say competing,did they actually run and do drills today,I was under the impression today was just to meet the staff and learn more about the school.

And if truly the case, i have much respect for the kid. So many kids want things handed to them these days and refuse to do anything unless coaches come to them.
 
Yeah never know down the line maybe a coach is somewhere else and gives you an opportunity.

He really loved Miami but as some kids learn eventually. It's a business and different schools will like you more or less than others.

He dealt with everything the way it should be.

He pulled one of the coaches to the side to tell them his decision to decommit.
