It's gonna happen.

Gio Bernard (1,000 yards, 11 TD) is the best player in the conference and is a sure thing.

After him you have:

Ellington (835 yards, 8 TD)

The Duke of South Beach (705 yards, 6 TD)

Clemson has NC State (30th overall defense) and S.Carolina (19th overall defense) left on their schedule

Miami has USF (59th) and Duke (95th)

Duke's got this.

And Duke has hit an extra gear (or maybe it has to do with him actually being healthy) the last few weeks.

Kinda scary.

That's just his rushing yards, his total yardage may have in the conversation for Freshman All-American and 1st team All-American as a KR. This kid has lived up to hype and surpassed what I thought he would do as a true Freshman. Did all of this while fighting through a turf toe for a few weeks.

He should be a Frosh All America kick returner. If not for Johnny Football and our obscene defense, he'd be a feature on ESPN by now.

He is #2 in the nation in Kick return yards and #9 in the nation in all purpose yards with something like 1668 yards

420 yds off of Willis's freshman AP yards record.
600 yds off of Sammy Watkin's AP yards last year, can't remember if that is ACC freshman record or all-time.

Both records can be met imo. At least Willis's. Now if we go to the ACCCG do them stats counts as well to his AP yards for the season or just post season?

Duke should break Portis' freshmen rushing record easily with 2 reg season games, the ACC CG, and a bowl game left.

Ellington will get it. But, Duke will be second team All ACC and Freshman All-American.
