Tidbit from the UT podcast today..

Jacoby Briscoe said Tennessee's coaches told him "they're about to switch from a 4-3 to a 3-4."
The Vols think they can flip Jacoby Briscoe with Sal Sunseri now on UT's staff... he fits the 3-4 well"
Jacoby's parents are leaning towards Miami and might not take the trip to UT with their son..
Jacoby said it will not affect his decision whether or not his parents join him on his visit..

He better go. He better be all in Bourke's ear when he does go.

numbers are real tight right now. who knows, if something crazy happens and Darius Hamilton wants in, it could leave Briscoe out in the cold. "if you're looking, we're looking...."

Maybe the staff feels confident enough that they told Briscoe to look around, because he said it has been his dream to come to Miami. After Bourque committed to UT it seems like Briscoe hasn't been solid anymore. Maybe the staff was only getting Briscoe to get Bourque and now they don't need Briscoe?? IDK im just spitballing and could be way off though.

Im with ya on that line of thinking. I asked previously if we had any Louisiana kids currently on the roster & never got an answer. I think that makes a difference.

I also believe Bakas's info stating that UM coaches did NOT go all in on Devante Borque. I was never all that high on him as a runningback. That can actually have a negative effect on Briscoe.

I agree, but it has more to do with next year then this one there is a 2013 safety that Loves UM is from the state would be cool to have some one from the same place as him would make it a little easier to get the kid away from LSU. Plus I do think Briscoe is a baller

Any DL help is vital at this point...the fact that Briscoe would man the middle makes him that much more important. For as much as I love AG's recruiting approach I can't figure out the DT deal. I'm guessing that he is thinking that Jelani will eventually move inside, I dunno.
