How we lose Brian burns and his coach is here and cook to a team far West something is not right.

We were never in it for Burns, and Cook hasn't wanted anything to do with Miami in forever. There's only so much you can do with a month of recruiting.
 
It's simple, the fan base thinks that it is entitled to every recruit that it wants. You don't get it because other members of this fan base promote excuses. The truth is that we haven't WON SH** and until we do consistently you can expect this to continue.

For now, why not just enjoy the recruits that we got today because we really got some great recruits in this class and if we improve in our player development program we will win come fall.

I wish there was a national drop fans day... We really need to trim some fan fat around here...

Agree especially since burns came down to georgia and fsu

2. Richt recruited him at georgia

Cribby you ain't never lied! That's the truth! Richt killed it this year for the short time he had but we aren't entitled to anything until we win. Fsu just had a dude get like 13 sacks. Our dline finally did that collectively since 2010. I'm sure Burns love Rumph but Lawing is a beast. Kool is too but he went with the winner.
 
Richt killed it? What? All richt did in his press conference was thank the previous staff for the talent they had on board already we got smoked!!! Bottom line

Burns wanted to play for Pruitt...then he stayed interested when Kirby, defensive coach just as good, became HC.

Can't be salty about not getting a guy to flip away from a school after the coach leaves AND not give credit to a new coach for keeping old commits. Logic doesn't work that way, bruh. Either credit Richt for keeping Golden's guys committed, or don't be shook about Burns staying with the schools he liked all along.

Or maybe, and I'm just spit balling here, maybe the kid wanted to leave town? Sounds crazy, but maybe the kid was just never interested in Miami. Crazier still, maybe getting this kid isn't why Richt hired Rumph.
 
It's as simple as some of these kids just want to get away from home. Some of them have relatives that are on their *** about "balling out" so that they can bask in the glory and money that comes with it. In some cases, some of these kids have never lived anywhere else and just want a fresh start. Also could be friends they grew up with that could cause problems as they progress their careers. In Cooks case, there are far worse schools than USC. FSU is a different story but there's so much tail up there it makes up for it.

So when does a 215 pound defensive end get on the field? Doesn't look like he's got the frame to get to 250 pounds anytime soon. Sweat played at 245 pounds for FSU and had a decent true freshman season. A couple of strips and a couple of sacks. I think we got the better kid in Jackson.

............how are you not getting it? He kept everyone here, well almost. When Golden got fired, we lost Zach and Ahmmon, two crucial recruits. Richt got em back. Richt also got Finley, Malek and Bethel, three huge gets for a new staff who I doubt even cared for Miami before Richt. Also got Martin and Johnson, who, may not start next year, are great additions for depth, so yeah, for a staff with only a month to actually go out and recruit and 2 months to keep a class together, did a **** good job.

So how many DE's do we need? Unfortunately we are not in the position to just load up one position group when we have so many others in need. We have a lot of DE's 7 total (including 2 incoming)

Returners: Thomas, Muhammed, Jackson, Patchan, Willis
New Comers: Jackson Bethel I don't know if he's better than either of the newcomers
