Don't know why people are getting in a tizzy about these recruits

What do you expect coming off a season where the offense looks like garbage, we lose to Duke, BC, UVA, there was turmoil in the locker room (kids do chat with each other), and finished losing our last 3 games last season.

People can complain about "bags" but how about actually winning some games and consistently? Are we really supposed to hate on kids who grew up with Miami being terrible and having schools like UGA/Bama/OSU who have been competing for NCs recruiting them ?

Why was our class Top 10 last year? We were 10-1 before ESD and playing in the ACC Championship game. We finished the previous season on a high note winning however many games and winning our bowl game.

Winning literally cures almost everything, losing costs recruits and costs jobs.

the only even decent thing richt did this year was get the 14 kids to sign their LOIs. beyond that, it is a failure.
 
Amen OP. I will add that one bad year does not make a trend. We are going to have a good chance next year to turn things around IF we can get a decent offense led by a decent QB/OC.

We had a bad year which led to a bad off season but one bad year doesn't doom a program. It's up to Manny and his coaches and the players to play like Miami Hurricanes. If that happens and we open up the recruiting net nationwide we can minimize whatever damage was done this year in recruiting.

Yet these were defensive players. We promoted the DC from a 7-6 team. You would think defensive recruits would want to play for the so called #2 defense in the nation

Agreed. We need top 10 classes cosistently. No we will never get top 5 classes consistently. But top 10 and great coaching is the recipe. Clemson usually average about 6 or 7 in recruiting each year. Yet they have been top 2 team for 4 straight years. They get a great QB and they build around that. That’s the recipe we need to follow.

We need a top ranked QB to commit early and become an ambassador. That will help ease the blow of this year.
 
Hard to feel hopeful when half the staff that let it get this way is still here. Clean house and start anew, Manny

You had the answer in your statement. We were 7-6 and Unranked. Kids want to win and both these kids are going to teams in the top 5 the last two years.

I'm not saying it would've helped us land these two.. But sitting here thinking about things, we haven't been the same since the OB was torn down. That was our heart & soul. Without it there's just something missing. Just one more strike against us.
 
I'm not shocked by the 2 guys today. Just ****ed about the guys that should be already on the roster or should've been signed but they were slow played for guys that went elsewhere.

This class is an utter mess because they **** on the young men that want to be apart of this program. Guys like Wright. Guys like Asante. From a year ago because he doesn't meet your height and weight requirements.

Yes if one of these great white buffaloes wish to come here. By all means. Make room for them but stop ****ting on guys that want to be here.

Look you can put it all on CMR if u want, this program was on life support when he came cause of sanctions and Golden, Mark breathed life into it and got us upright. Now it’s Manny’s opportunity to teach the beast to run and destroy things. Either ur Cane in or Cane out, ur choice. Gonna miss ya at the tailgate.

Eff dat! There's **** near 30 teams that had a average to HORRIBLE season just like us yet their classes are ranked higher than ours! What did TENNESSEE? The same thing ARKANSAS!!! LOL

Full recruiting classes, more guys= higher rank. Where in the *** are 4star guys from Tenn. and Ark. gonna go. The star rankings are BS, lets see where we land w/ 25 in.
