guys are not counting the defensive end group as dline recruits and are instead focusing on dtackles ... it is what it is, the portal changes things, if we whiff i guarantee we'll hit in the portal ...
 
Fools Gold… as there is more than one “need” on a defensive line.

As stated in 50 other threads, we win games and a lot changes for us in recruiting. The way Mario recruits, if he were to win 9 games this year he’ll flips some “whales” and flirt with a top 3 class. We have to take care of business though. Simple as that.

Not a single one of those kids is ranked in the Top FIVE-HUNDRED.

Add Patterson and Mincey to this class (not saying we sign both those kids, just an example of adding highly ranked kids) and we have the #10 ranked class right now and people aren't quite as frantic about the defensive line. We have two very good WRs committed, a very good RB, a very good TE, and some excellent defensive linemen. Any time you guys wanna add some blue-chip DBs....you know, something that you should be able to do at Miami in your ******* sleep, that would be OK with me.

Yes, CB and QB specifically are the two position groups we are doing the worst in recruiting... which would also be looking a whole helluva lot different had Rashada and Cormani McClain not flipped before NSD.

Has anyone talked about how and if the one year athletic department probation is affecting our recruiting or the bag games we can play?

And frankly, the results haven't been anywhere near that.
