Is this guy for real? Can someone please explain what he's trying to accomplish?

The scheme is so bad. If we had 11 All-Americans on D this scheme would still give up 400+ yards per game.

18-yr-olds or not, with the athletes we have, how can we possibly be the WORST defense in the NCAA?

It's really mind-boggling.

In all reality, I'm not a coach though- am I misunderstanding something? Does the future look optimistic for this D in ANY way, shape, or form?

its not his fault were playing with 7 guys on defense every game.. in case you cant see, we dont have a dline

We have no d-line period...nothing to work with, basically it 7 on 7 with our defense. 3 linebackers, 2 safeties, and 2 corners, 0 d-line.

There is nothing you can do about stopping the run. His schemes against the passing game are debatable, but the run game is plain simple. We can't get push. The trenches is not a place for children...simple as that.

He could at least try to stuff the box and go zero coverage, I would think at some point you would say enough is enough.

Sorry, you can outman them....you can do SOMETHING. Force the action...we just sit back in base...occasionally bring a safety. It's garbage.

I would bet a lot of money that half the teams in FCS would do a better job, and you can't tell me they have better players.
