Does anyone else remember this? Golden was trying to push him off into his on head coaching gig, getting rid of him but helping out a friend at the same time. I think he's aware of the liability, and is trying to do the best to mitigate the fallout. But he has noticed, we'll see what happens this offseason.

It's tough to fire your best friend, no doubt.

But you have to do what's best for the program.

At this point you got to put friendship aside and do what is best for your career. This defense doesn't seem to be changing at all.

I'm not willing to write off golden yet... But he needs to make a business move by firing Dorito who seems to comfy knowing his best friend is his boss

earlier in the year they were good. i think they are exhausted plus they know our dummy qb cant keep on the field. i guarentee benching morris makes this whole team play better.

Worst post I've seen in a while.

Our D gives up 50+ to a 100+ ranked offense = Morris' fault
Our QB goes 300+ 2 TD and 0 INTs vs #1 ranked pass defense = bad game

This D was not good earlier. Uf offense is **** and they gave up over 400 yards and they drove down the field the whole game.

Morris' statline last night does not tell the story. Two 80+ yard passes for TDs, one of which he had little to do with, will make your day look better.

His inability to sustain drives is killing.

This. 3rd down and the red zone have been atrocious all season

Both coordinators are awful...I give Coley some wiggle room since its his first year...with that said it aint looking good. He does not use the strength of this team..Run At the defense, mash fuggers with you big o line and FB. instead he goes deep..incomplete, runs a stretch..loss of 1 and then its 3rd and long. Story of the year.

As far as Dorito goes...Fire his ars ASAP. If Golden is going to make a statement and be successful, gotta make the difficult decisions. Fire a friend who is sinking the ship

i don't think it's goldens job to fire the defensive coordinator, i think thats blake james job right? I could be wrong either way though I don't think it'll be an easy offseason for Golden

Its Als job but if I'm Blake I don't give him a choice. Of course that doesn't create a very good work environment.

In the same way, I hope Golden making Coach D face the media after the game (if, in fact, he made him) is a similar sign that he's recognized the incompetence and knows he HAS TO distance himself (and ultimately this team) from it.

I can only hope.
