He's been unhappy there since day one. He almost left last year but decided to stay. There seems to be far more than a fear of competition behind his desire to leave Blacksburg.

1.) VT and Miami are in the same conference

2.) VT and Miami are on the same side of the conference

3.) VT and Miami are hated rivals of each other in the same conference

= he aint coming here.
