I say yes to keep Nil recruiting & positive vibes going. What say you?
No. D’Erik King did not need a division title or an Orange Bowl appearance or a 10 win season to get an NIL deal. Ruiz is going to support the Canes even if we go winless this season. Mario is rebuilding the Canes via recruiting and that does not happen overnight.I say yes to keep Nil recruiting & positive vibes going. What say you?
you want to go on a 4 game losing streak to teams that include UNC, FSU, and ND?I’ll take Kaaya’s the season before over that one.
Would rather start off slow and end it on a roll than finish with a whimper.

What? 2017 was leagues above any of Kaayas seasons.I’ll take Kaaya’s the season before over that one.

In a first year head coaches tenure it’s a lot more palatable than losing three games in a row to end the season after getting all the way to number two in the rankings.
What do you think recruit remember more? Finishing off scorching hot and a blowout bowl win or midseason slump with multiple close losses?
A&M is overratedRegardless of record, I think it's obvious when a team is good. If they can compete with A&M and Clemson that'll go a long way.
Can't end on that losing streak. No way can we finish getting stomped out by clemson. That gap has to close big time. Avoiding that **** and letting Mario work is all we need.
Shout it from rooftops brother. 8-4/9-3 first year is a great building block as long as we recruit well. Let's see what happens going into year 3 before we start trying to say 10/11 wins or bust.We need to temper some expectations. It took Kirby, what, 5 years to win a ship, and that's with a fully stocked team he inherited with the full muscle of an athletic program and school behind him.
And even then, it takes more than just resources.
There's a bit of luck involved as well when it comes to staying healthy.
Jameson Williams doesn't go down, and chances are Saban is crowned again.
OSU has arguably been the most consistent program in the nation at all positions, and they still haven't won a ship in almost 10 years.
We just need to look for progress and improvement, not get blown out in the games we do happen to lose, and win the games we're supposed to win with (1 or 2 upsets along the way). Let's start there.
If we ignore losing to ****** pitt(5-7), getting stomped by clemson in the acccg and then losing a bowl game would put a serious damper on, or verify a bad season. Either way it would have a negative impact on recruiting imo. Any recruits who held off committing in December might be lost with a bad bowl game. I would rather win those games than beat clemson and atm in the regular season. Show progress and end on a good note.. Mario will have something to work with talking to recruits. If our season is like 2017, it would involve a win over a top 5 team towards the end of the season. Which would mean beating Clemson. The losing streak would be last game of the season, ACC Champ, and the following bowl game.
