Wow that line has moved. It was Pickem or -1 Canes just a few days ago.

No believers in Bristol but apparantly a few in Vegas.

I knew I liked that place.

Sure as **** hope we cover. I have us at +.5.

And if we don't cover at -2.5, then **** could be pretty ugly this year after all. BC = not good.

In the last game either one of these teams played, Miami was a 13 point favorite over Boston College. That in itself is rationale for the late line move toward the Canes. I've seen it countless times previously. It has nothing to do with revenge. It's merely an impression that the adjustment from last season is probably too much, an overreaction. You mostly discount the result, the Boston College victory. If Miami was favored by 13 and Boston College lost its best player in Kuechly, then Miami probably should be favored the second time around. The bettors move toward perceived value. A common trend in sports betting is a team will struggle when made a hefty double digit favorite but once they are ignored closer to pick-em the team plays looser and the flood gates can open.
