i feel like half the people on here want this team to lose so they can complain or call for coach d's head. Golden made it clear this team isn't there yet.
look at the crappy players he inherited. a moron at qb, a monster with no heart (sentral), absolute scrubs on def likes rodgers, aj, ty, gaines (who apparently cant tackle anyone just push them out of bounds) walford is a total klutz, cleveland does nothing right. Hurns is good and shayon at least has heart. That's just two difference makers aside from linder. Other than that you are relying on fresh and true sophmore's. The players from golden's two classes have been contributing. Bush and Howard are going to be stud's. Jenkin's makes plays. AQM will be a superstar as will coley. there is alot of talent but it is still developing. Figs and Grace will be more ready next year. Hopefully some juco's can help on the interior. In the next 2 years, you will see us build the depth. We are on our way but we need to be patient. Next year we are a bcs team.

Those fools only come out to critique, without having any positive action to better the team. "FIRE _____! Because I'm so full of hate that I have nothing good to offer!"

None of this will matter if we consistently let every QB complete ever crossing pattern and we refuse to cover backs out of the backfield. You could have our 2001 D out there and they'd get torn up playing this scheme. Guys are uncovered....doesn't matter how good our players are if they aren't covering the right players.
 
It's always next year, NYCane. Every year, it's always "next year". 10 years now, it's always "next year", we are an 8 and 4, maybe 9 and 3 team like 2009, Everyone said "Ahhh, we'll be NC contenders next year" In 2010 we sh*t the bed. I didn't think we would beat FSU, but we should have beat this average VT team and finished 11-1. Nope, maybe next year.

I highly doubt a new defensive coordinator will be able to fix the horrible tackling, the lack of QB Pressure, the dumb turnovers, or the idiot QB, or our lack of depth and talent, but if that will satisfy your hateful obliviousness, then so be it.
 
I'm fine losing with a lack of talent. I'm not okay with losing because of scheme/coaching issues which happened tonight.

We just gave up 500+ to a bad QB and offense

We don't have the perfect roster (few do), but there are clearly alarming issues in our coaching....if you can't see that then you have your head in the sand.

Well coached teams doesn't consistently turn the ball over and miss tackles.

The players you ridicule are our most productive players... They'll leave but who will replace them? Be careful what you wish for?

I don't ask to beat Alabama but dam can we at least be competitive againsta ****** V tech team?
 
Yea I sat and tailgated in the rain since 3 today because I wanted to see us lose

Golden said we arent ready??? So we should all say hes right and have blind faith

You dont notice teams score on us more points than they do vs anyone else

This is funny, the scheduled was made very ease, if not it looks like the same as last year. Last year the excuse was we were young. Logan had a game like the FSU qb, really? This looked like the Wisconsin game with Randy at the helm or the ND game last year. Looks like a just a few plays were run by VT and we made no adjustments.
 
Yes. Only way to bring about change. That's how it usually works.

Our schedule is so soft this year and in years to come though that we'll most certainly win enough games to never shuffle the staff up.
 
**** no. How ******* dense is that? I want us to all be wrong. I want us to turn some kind of corner. I want our defense to play like a top-20 squad. I want our offense to be well schemed and creative. I want to go 11-2 and clean up in recruiting, and start next year in the top 15 and primed to climb. And I want to **** Urban Meyer's daughter and leave her naked and covered in ***** in the Arizona desert after we beat Ohio Taint 52-0 in the national title game next year. That's what I want ************.


All that failing, I want us to not be stuck with what would be our 3rd straight coach in over his head. So, I'm gonna click my heels together while I wear these orange and green slippers and say there's no place like home, cross my fingers, and hope Golden has some sort of epiphany, because, if not, this **** is gonna stay bad for a long time before it gets any better.
