I'm pretty sure his main concern is to inspire kids to do their best in every aspect of life, not just football. If you're trying to question his loyalty to Miami that is just foolish.

Agreed.

As a Canes fan I see it as an honor that one of our more decorated football alums is considered an ombudsman for the sport of college football. Its one of many great contributions of the UM football programs.

not questioning his loyalty i just hate that **** team and their fans, look at all the comments they calling him a thug, murderer etc. i guess when i look at it from the perspective its cool the fan in me just doesnt like it
 
Kinda made me a little sick to hear that. He's got enough money. If he needs to get paid for speeches go give them to youth leagues or to a bunch of fat slobs at one of those business conventions.
 
i don't like the fact that he'd actually do that but i do like the fact that Bama doesn't have a good enough linebacker in the league that they have to ask one of ours
 
Great football player but ***** him!!! Everyone has an opinion and that is mine. Couldn't pay for his kid to save us a ship and now this, A-hole. I can see he's big on the Cane family. How **** greedy can people be?

What if we played Bama in the NC game, and they replayed the Ray Lewis pep talk to Bama's players. How embarrassing would that be? Dumb move no matter how the milquetoast set tries to spin it. EVERY other college team is a potential rival or enemy to UM.

so basically if your rich you have to pay for your children school? even thought r3 was on the field, r3 was in the weight room, and r3 was studying hard in the class room so he can make it into a school like miami? if he had 5 stars next to his name you would have begged Al to throw a scholarship at him

Yet if a prominent Bama alum were to give an opening weekend locker room speech to the Canes, some here would likely be crying about how our coach doesnt respect UM traditions, etc...

Agreed. Besides for the gator I hate these guys as much or more than anyone else including notre Dame. I don't question is loyalty. But to speak to everything that's evil and attempt to help Them. Thats not something I can condone
